Setting Up Services
Follow this guide to add and configure services your business offers. Well-configured services enable accurate booking and AI assistance.
Creating a Service
Navigate to Services
Go to Settings → Services in your dashboard.
Click 'Add Service'
Find the add button in the top right corner.
Enter basic details
Add the service name and a clear description for customers.
Set category
Choose an existing category or create a new one.
Save and continue
Basic service is created. Now configure the details.
Duration Settings
Accurate timing ensures proper scheduling and prevents overbooking.
Service Duration
The actual time the service takes. Be realistic - padding is handled separately.
Buffer Before
Prep time before the service. Setup, consultation, etc.
Buffer After
Cleanup or transition time after. Sanitizing, notes, etc.
Example: A 60-minute massage with 5-minute buffer before (setup) and 10-minute buffer after (cleanup) blocks 75 minutes total on the calendar.
Pricing Options
Fixed Price
A set price for the service. Best for standard services.
Starting At
A base price with variations. Great for customizable services.
Price on Consultation
Price determined after consultation. For complex services.
Deposit Required
Require upfront payment to secure the booking.
Team Assignment
Specify which team members can perform this service.
Organizing with Categories
Categories group related services together in your menu and booking flow.
Create categories first
Go to Settings → Service Categories to create your groupings.
Name clearly
Use names customers would expect (Hair, Nails, Massage, etc.)
Set display order
Drag categories to arrange how they appear to customers.
Assign services
Each service belongs to one category.
