Managing Bookings

Learn how to create, edit, reschedule, and manage bookings effectively.

Creating Bookings

Click on an empty time slot

Or use the '+ New Booking' button in the calendar toolbar.

Select or create a customer

Search for an existing customer or create a new one on the spot.

Choose the service

Select from your list of services. Duration and price will auto-populate.

Assign team member (optional)

If you have multiple team members, assign who will handle the appointment.

Add notes (optional)

Include any special instructions or customer requests.

Confirm the booking

The customer will receive a confirmation via their preferred channel.

Editing Bookings

Reschedule

Drag and drop the booking to a new time slot, or open the booking details and select a new date/time. The customer will be notified.

Change service

Open the booking details and select a different service. Duration will adjust automatically.

Update notes

Add or edit notes at any time. Notes are visible to your team but not shared with the customer.

Reassign team member

Change who is assigned to handle the booking if needed.

Canceling Bookings

To cancel a booking, click on it to open the details panel and select "Cancel Booking".

Cancellation options

  • Notify customer: Send an automatic cancellation message
  • Add reason: Record why the booking was canceled
  • Offer reschedule: Suggest alternative times

Booking Statuses

PendingAwaiting confirmation (for AI-created bookings)
ConfirmedBooking is confirmed and scheduled
In ProgressAppointment is currently happening
CompletedAppointment has been completed
CancelledBooking was cancelled
No ShowCustomer did not show up

Pro Tips

  • • Use keyboard shortcuts: N for new booking
  • • Filter by team member to see individual schedules
  • • Enable "Show completed" to see past appointments in the calendar
  • • Set up recurring bookings for regular customers
