Gift Cards

Sell digital gift cards online. Customers can purchase cards for themselves or others, and recipients can redeem them at checkout.

How It Works

Customer Purchases

Customers visit your booking page and select Gift Cards. They choose an amount, add an optional message, and enter the recipient's email.

Payment & Delivery

After payment, Bizily sends a beautifully designed email to the recipient with the gift card code. The purchaser also receives a confirmation.

Recipient Redeems

When booking, the recipient enters their gift card code at checkout. The balance is automatically applied to their purchase.

Automatic Delivery

Gift cards are emailed immediately after purchase. Schedule delivery for a future date for birthdays or holidays.

Flexible Amounts

Set preset amounts ($25, $50, $100) or let customers choose custom values within your defined range.

Optional Expiration

Set expiration dates or keep cards valid indefinitely. Expired balances never actually go away - they're just flagged.

Personal Messages

Customers can add a personal message that's included in the delivery email to make gifts more meaningful.

Setting Up Gift Cards

    Navigate to Settings → Gift Cards

    Enable gift cards for your business

    Configure preset amounts

    Add common denominations like $25, $50, $100, or allow custom amounts

    Set expiration policy (optional)

    Choose days until expiration or leave blank for no expiration

  4. 4

    Connect Stripe (if not already)

    Gift card purchases are processed through your connected Stripe account

Managing Gift Cards

View All Gift Cards

Go to Marketing → Gift Cards to see all purchased gift cards, their balances, and redemption history. Filter by status (active, redeemed, expired).

Resend Delivery Email

If a recipient didn't receive their gift card, you can resend the delivery email from the gift card details page. You can also update the recipient email.

Manual Adjustments

Need to add balance or issue a refund? You can manually adjust gift card balances with a note explaining the reason. All changes are logged in the audit trail.

  • Promote during holidays: Gift card sales spike around holidays. Add a banner to your booking page before major gift-giving occasions.
  • Offer a bonus: Run promotions like "Buy a $100 gift card, get $10 free" to incentivize larger purchases.
  • Share on social: Post about gift cards on your social media, especially when customers are looking for last-minute gifts.
