Why I'm building this
Tyler Zhao, Founder
After 7+ years in tech at Citi, Chase, and startups, I started Mana Esse—a spa in Bangkok. The chaos hit immediately: LINE, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Meta Business Suite—each with its own quirks for template messages. Auto-replies felt robotic, but people kept asking the same things over and over.
We tried online booking systems. Customers refused to use them—messaging was direct and convenient. So I was stuck being the middleman.
Then we opened a second location. Double the finances. Different prices at each store. Staff floating between locations. Commission rates that varied by person, service, and location. I was drowning in spreadsheets.
Every booking tool I tried felt like it was built by people who'd never run a service business. So I built my own.
